I also take stealth module and my own evasive skills to keep my ship alive while my boarding team takes out the captain. Take flashbangs to stunlock the captain so it can't run off to the med bay. In chapter 3 I also found that boarding with a strong warrior team and just assassinating the enemy captain worked really well in almost every case. Bombs/missiles are great against shields, and some of them are extremely powerful.

The one that super charges shield regen and the +50% evade speed are really hard to deal with if you don't have the proper gear. Enemy crew skills, some skills are rediculously powerful. You can do the same with unwanted crew members.Ģ. I made it a point to always have a max out cryo chamber and take prisoners at any opportunity to get my wanted status lowered at the next station I stopped at. However, you can lower it through killing pirates, certain events and most of all, turning in cryo frozen prisoners. Currently the only objective is to kill 7 bosses. more sectors or distinct sectors, they all play the same crew to buy at level 1 (v annoying to only be presented with crew that have skills you don't want). All have the same max energy, shields, weapon power etc. starting conditions are different but most ships are basically the same. fire suppression system, crew quarters, shield nulifier, warp drive to jump bigger distances, there are lots of options. more ship rooms to buy, currently only 4. Won't be playing again until they add a good bit more to the game. Tried all the different weapon types and combos. at 22.8 hours i've unlocked all the ships, played maybe 4-5 runs of the free roam mode, unlocked 77% of weapons and 55% of achievements.
